Mountain Rescue Upper Austria
The weight, size and functionality of each device are of enormous importance in mountain rescue. The ultra-light patient monitor from cosinuss° has proven to be a real game changer and has been used by the teams of the Upper Austrian Mountain Rescue Service since the beginning of 2024.
Filling gaps in patient monitoring in challenging environments
In close collaboration with several partners cosinuss° has delivered several sensor units to frontline teams in Ukraine. Over the recent months we could gather invaluable feedback from the users, using our system in military medical evacuation missions.

Global Special Rescue Solutions GSRS
Patient monitoring during special rescues from heights and depths - During a seminar at the TCRH in Mosbach, the cosinuss° patient monitoring solution was tested under the most adverse conditions during special rescues.
Patient monitoring at the Hamburg Marathon
The DRK Kreisverband Hamburg Altona und Mitte e.V. used the mobile patient monitoring system from cosinuss° during the Haspa Marathon Hamburg 2024.
Study: RAPID_REVIVE – Post-COVID treatment
A randomized evaluation of the treatment of post-COVID syndrome. Together with renowned university project partners, cosinuss° contributes to the first use case of the NAPKON-TIP infrastructure.
Continuous patient monitoring throughout the patient pathway
In a cooperation with the AICHER AMBULANZ UNION during the Oktoberfest 2023 in Munich, cosinuss° established a continuous patient monitoring system across all stretchers, the triage area as well as all stationary areas.
Essential challenges solved
The cosinuss° monitoring technology was thoroughly tested by physicians of the Martin Air Rescue organization. It was used alongside the existing technology in real rescue situations and was found to be as reliable as the reference.
Simulated mountain rescue scenarios
A research project conducted by the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich investigated the benefit of the cosinuss° monitoring solution for long-term, terrestrial transportation and prolonged-field-care in rush alpine rescue scenarios.
Simulated helicopter flights
