This year’s DIVI Congress will take place from December 4 to 6 at the Congress Center in Hamburg under the motto “Competence in the team: innovation meets experience”. Innovation is an important aspect of intensive care and emergency medicine, but it can only be meaningfully implemented for the benefit of patients if the team has the relevant experience. We are pleased that we will be there again this year to exchange ideas with the participants and present our innovative technology for mobile and remote patient monitoring.
Interdisciplinary cooperation
Intensive care and emergency medicine thrives on interdisciplinarity and multiprofessionalism – two pillars that are particularly well represented in the DIVI. Thus, the exchange across all specialist areas and professional fields is an essential and important component in the joint treatment and care of patients. This interdisciplinary cooperation is also reflected in the program of the three-day congress. Proven formats for exchange and discussion between all professional groups are available. These include hands-on courses, pro-con sessions, discussion forums, panel discussions and campfire meetings.

Innovative patient monitoring
We are pleased to be able to present our system for mobile patient monitoring to the participants of DIVI24 as part of the industry exhibition. Consisting of a 6.5g in-ear sensor and a software solution (cosinuss° Health). The monitoring technology for vital parameter measurement has already been tested several times in various studies and pilot projects in rescue and intensive care medicine as well as in remote patient monitoring (see references). We will be happy to discuss the possibilities and expectations of using innovative technologies in intensive care and emergency medicine with participants at the industry exhibition.

The “German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine” (DIVI) is an interdisciplinary association of professional associations, scientific societies and individual members from the medical and healthcare professions. It now has more than 4,100 members. The DIVI has set itself the goal of promoting science, practice and research in relation to intensive care and emergency medicine and drawing the attention of politicians and the public to its concerns.
