The ÖNK Congress is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year under the motto: “Emergency medicine in changing times – shaping the future together”. The congress takes place in Vienna and offers an interdisciplinary platform covering all aspects of emergency medicine. We are very much looking forward to presenting our ultra-light and mobile patient monitoring system as part of the accompanying industry exhibition and to reporting on our experience of using our technology to date.
Versatile program of theory and practice
The ÖNK Congress offers a varied program of lectures and workshops. Participants can look forward to interesting and informative presentations, numerous interactive workshops and symposia. Among other things, the lecture “Digitalization and technologies in the rescue service” will highlight how modern technologies can improve emergency care in the event of accidents and disasters.
With this year’s congress, the organizers want to encourage participants to work together to expand the possibilities of emergency medicine and set new standards for even more effective and patient-oriented care.
Ultralight and mobile patient monitoring
We are pleased to present our system for mobile patient monitoring, which is based on the 6.5 g in-ear sensor, c-med° alpha, and the application for mobile devices, cosinuss° Health, to the participants of the congress as part of the industry exhibition. The monitoring technology has already been tested in various studies and pilot projects in rescue and intensive care medicine, prolonged field care and offshore rescue and has been used very successfully in the remote monitoring of patients (see references). We look forward to exchanging ideas with the participants to discuss the further possibilities of using our technology in a wide variety of scenarios.
