Pushing medical boundaries in extreme environments
At the World Extreme Medicine Conference 2024, classical medicine meets extreme environments. This special conference combines hands-on experience with innovative educational opportunities in five different areas. From emergency care to wilderness medicine, participants will have the opportunity to learn from outstanding professionals such as aerospace physicians, research physicians and military medics. Through immersive scenarios, hands-on workshops and challenging adventures, WEM24 enables medical professionals to expand their skills beyond their usual environment. Speakers will share groundbreaking discoveries, new treatment approaches and technologies that are pushing the boundaries of what is medically possible.
Ultralight and mobile patient monitoring
At the accompanying exhibition we will present our compact, ultralight mobile patient monitoring system. This “pocket-sized patient monitor” provides real-time vital data, even in demanding conditions. The 5.5 cm, 6.5 g in-ear sensor c-med° alpha, paired with a smartphone application, enables continuous tracking of critical health parameters such as heart rate, body temperature, and oxygen saturation – ideal for scenarios where traditional monitoring has been impractical due to distance, weight, size, or limited space. We look forward to showcasing our innovative patient monitoring technology, highlighting how our solution could enhance tactical medical care.
