Pre-hospital trauma and intensive care is a very challenging field. Medical staff have to work routinely and carefully even in the most stressful situations. This October, industry professionals will gather in Sundsvall, Sweden for the international conference Tactical Trauma 2024 to exchange views on various aspects of working in highly sensitive environments, primarily related to prehospital trauma and critical care. cosinuss° is very pleased to be there both as an exhibitor and with a talk about our Mobile Patient Monitoring solution. Facing the challenges of prehospital and critical care
The diverse program of this three-day-conference will focus on different topics, such as “Performance, Stress and Mental Health in High-Stakes Environments” and “Prehospital focus: mass casualty incidents, high-threat scenarios, tactical medicine and prehospital care.” The program will feature state-of-the-art lectures from world-class speakers. The conference hosts aim to bring together all organizations working with pre-hospital trauma in tactical/hostile environments, including physicians, HEMS, EMS, police anti-terror units, military, fire and rescue services and more.
Ultralight and mobile patient monitoring
We are pleased to present our system for mobile patient monitoring – based on the 6.5g in-ear sensor, c-med° alpha, and the application for mobile devices, cosinuss° Health – to the participants of the conference as part of the industry exhibition. Our CEO, Dr. Johannes Kreuzer, will present the possibilities and use cases with this new technology and will be available for further inspiring exchange with all participants.
The cosinuss° monitoring technology has already been tested several times in various studies and pilot projects in emergency and intensive care medicine, including in military operations and air rescue (see references). We look forward to exchanging ideas with emergency physicians and other professionals in emergency and rescue medicine!
