The next virtual BioM Lunchtalk will take place on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. We are very pleased that Dr. Johannes Kreuzer (CEO of Cosinuss GmbH) will be there to give a presentation as part of the current focus topic “AI/Machine Learning for Biotechnology” and then exchange ideas with the participants.

Virtual exchange with the biotechnology industry

BioM Lunchtalk is a virtual format that provides a platform for all interested life science companies, start-ups and research institutions to present themselves to the biotechnology industry and engage in an exchange of ideas. The latest developments are discussed, new start-ups or projects are presented and trends within biotechnology are dealt with in short presentations followed by a panel discussion.
The current BioM Lunchtalk series focuses on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in biotechnology. The format takes place once a month on Wednesdays between 12:00 and 13:00.

In his presentation entitled “Filling white spaces in vital signs monitoring”, Dr. Johannes Kreuzer will discuss the importance of qualitative data for further processing by AI and ML. After all, no matter how sophisticated the AI and ML models used may be: If the quality of the data is lacking, the results will not be valid. In the field of health in particular, it is essential to work with good and contextualized data (“labeled data”). cosinuss° uses sensor technology to provide a large amount of seamlessly recorded and qualitative vital data.
