From December 4-6, the Oslo HEMS Conference will take place for the first time. The O-HEMS-C is aimed at all players in the European air rescue community, including speakers and representatives from various manufacturers within Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) in Europe. We are very pleased to be part of it to share valuable experiences with our mobile patient monitoring system.
Future developments in European air rescue
The primary goal of O-HEMS-C is to bring together air ambulance professionals in one central location to share their experiences and the latest information on the ever-changing world of air ambulance and pre-hospital critical care. Renowned experts will present their perspectives and expertise on various topics in the field of air rescue.
Participants will have the opportunity to take part in “Meet the Expert” sessions, practical workshops and panel discussions. In addition to the scientific program, there will also be valuable networking opportunities.
Ultralight and mobile patient monitoring
We would like to hear the participants’ feedback on our mobile and ultra-light patient monitoring. Consisting of an in-ear sensor and the cosinuss° Health software solution for monitoring the most important vital parameters, this technology is already being used in remote patient monitoring, for example. It has also been successfully tested in numerous studies and pilot projects, including in air rescue, and further developed in collaboration with doctors (see references). We look forward to sharing our findings at O-HEMS-C and presenting our vision of enabling continuous patient monitoring across all sectors.
