18-19 November 2022
Language: English, German
Place: Virtual
On November 18 and 19, 2022, the 7th virtual symposium “New Ideas for Medicine” of the Department of Dermatology and Allergology of the Technical University of Munich will take place. The event offers its participants a wide range of digital and creative approaches to numerous dermatological challenges and beyond.
We are very pleased that our CEO Johannes Kreuzer will be there to present our mobile solutions for vital signs monitoring.
Range of topics: dermatology and beyond
The focus of the event is on dermatological subject areas. However, many of the applications and technologies presented can also be usefully applied beyond this specialist area. Thus, from the analysis of one’s own skin by means of a smart mirror, to virtual clinics, to the presentation of new sensor technologies for the measurement of vital parameters, a wide range of topics is available.
The program spans two days and consists of several presentations:
- November 18, 2022 (14:00 – 18:30, CET): English and German presentations.
- November 19, 2022 (09:00 – 13:30, CET): German lectures
The full program will be published soon!
Mobile and continuous vital signs measurement
On the second day of the event, Johannes Kreuzer will talk about our solution for mobile and continuous remote monitoring of vital parameters in medical applications. This can also make a valuable contribution in the field of dermatology, for example in the early detection of sepsis, e.g. due to a skin infection (read more about the use case here: Sepsis: Early Detection and Aftercare).
