After the Corona break in 2020, this year’s MEDICA will again take place on site in Düsseldorf. We are very pleased that cosinuss° will be there again – this time with a new in-ear sensor and exciting insights into remote patient monitoring!

cosinuss° vital signs technology for reliable data

The exact measurement and reliable remote monitoring of vital parameters has become increasingly important in recent years, not only due to the Corona pandemic. We therefore present our new in-ear sensor c-med° alpha* as part of the product category “Patient Monitoring / Measuring Stations”. The sensor enables full monitoring of core body temperature, heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2).

The c-med° alpha and other of our in-ear sensors are already successfully used in several studies for remote patient monitoring. We are therefore very pleased to report about first experiences and findings!

Together with other players from the medical and healthcare industry, we want to use our technology to close the gaps in the current patient pathway – from the scene of an accident, to inpatient stays, to home monitoring. Fittingly, our CEO Johannes Kreuzer will give a presentation entitled “Filling the monitoring gap in patients pathways” at the MEDICA Connected Healthcare Forum (Tuesday, 16.11. at 16:10).

Wearable Technologies

cosinuss° will be represented together with over 40 other well-known exhibitors under the large joint stand of WT | Wearable Technologies AG.

There the exhibitors will show which latest innovations and developments in the field of wearables are already on the market today and which will find their way into our everyday lives in the near future. The main topics of this year’s WT | Wearable Technologies joint booth are:

  • Mobile monitoring and patient care
  • Wearables for chronic diseases and mobility problems
  • Treatment and prevention of injuries with wearables for rehabilitation
  • Wearables for sports, fitness and wellness
  • New devices for women and newborns, family planning and pregnancy
  • Platforms, materials, sensors and distribution
