We are happy to announce our collaboration with the Jozef Stefan Institute and Prof. Igor Mekjavic and his team in Ljubljana, Slovenia for a joint research about the human oxygen saturation for different applications.
The ESA (European Space Agency) study called Concordia will address following topics:
- Understanding spaceflight-induced stresses and related mechanisms and processes as well as countermeasures for psychological, neurosensory, neuroendocrine and stress-sensitive systems of the human body.
- Enhancing and optimizing the human factor contribution to space exploration missions’ operations
- Enabling future human long-duration spaceflight missions.
The cosinuss° developed and patented earconnect technology will be part of these studies in the Concordia Antarctic Research Station.
A further topic of the collaboration with the IJS will be several studies at the hypoxic facility of the Olympic Sport Centre Planica.
